This week, Crewe based communications provider Cymphony announced its 2022 partnership with St Luke’s Hospice at their annual Cymphony Awards Gala. The collaboration will enable St Luke’s Hospice to continue carrying out vital work and help change lives in the local community.
Since 1988, St Luke’s has provided palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways beyond the NHS’s scope and funding. The hospice’s support ranges from end-of-life care and supporting carers to helping children cope with grief and patients to return to work after an illness.
“We’re over the moon that Cymphony has selected us to be its Charity of the Year for 2022! For over 30 years, St Luke’s Hospice has provided care and support to people from Crewe and its surrounding areas at a time in their life when they need it most,” said Andy Bailey, the Corporate Partnership Manager for St Luke’s Hospice. “As a charity, we receive just 15% of our funding from the Government, which means we rely on the support of our communities and local businesses to help raise the rest. We’re really looking forward to teaming up with Cymphony for these next 12 months.”
By partnering with St Luke’s Hospice, Cymphony hopes to put the fun back into fundraising for their employees, as well as provide regular financial support to deliver vital hospice services. The company will be putting together an internal team tasked with organising a range of monthly fundraising initiatives for the partnership, such as blowing up record number of balloons and cake bakes to name a few.
“We are delighted to be partnering with St Luke’s Hospice, a trusted and much-loved local charity that reaches right into the heart of our local community. The work the hospice carries out is vital in helping people live the very best lives they can. It’s important that businesses recognise and support the good work of charities like St Luke’s Hospice. Cymphony is thrilled to be partnering with such a fantastic charity and I can’t wait to see some of the initiatives our team comes up with,” said Tim Morris, the MD of Cymphony.
