About the Garden:

It's estimated there are half a million redwoods in the UK - this includes the 2 giant redwoods at Burland Hall (Sequoiadendron Giganteum - also commonly called giant sequoias) introduced in the 1800's by the Victorian owners of what was then Burland Hall Farm. Wonder amongst the 6 of 7 remaining Lime trees and you will come across 2 huge conifers with reddish, thick and fibrous bark.

The redwood tree is the largest and tallest living organism on the planet. The Lime trees were most likely planted as a celebration of victory over Napoleon in the 1820's.

£5 per adult if you book in advance (£6.50 for pay on the day). Children are free. Dogs on leads are allowed.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the charm and elegance of Burland Hall while supporting your local Hospice. We look forward to welcoming you for a day of relaxation and fun!
