Fundraise at school

The importance of helping others

From toddling tots to tenacious teenagers we have a fundraising event just for you! Fundraising for St Luke’s provides your pupils with a greater understanding of what a Hospice does, it teaches them the importance of helping others and teaches them more about themselves and gives them a great sense of achievement.

A variety of tailor-made events

Raising money is a brilliant way to unite your school community, work for a common cause, and achieve your target.  We have a variety of tailor-made events for you to get involved in. Here are some suggestions:

Spring Term
Leaping Lambs and or Bunny Hop – aimed at Early Years and KS1 pupils

Summer Term
Have a dedicated stall at your school fete or sports day.  We can help you with resources, ideas and suggestions to make your stall a success.

Autumn Term
Please participate in our legendary ELF Run, have a lot of festive fun, and provide care simultaneously.

Flourishing Fivers
Challenge your pupils to turn a £5 note into five more by coming up with an enterprise initiative they can do collectively or as an individual.

All year round
Please take advantage of our free assemblies/talks giving information on the work of a Hospice, using age-appropriate language for KS1 and KS2. Talks are also available to college students, especially Health Care students considering a career in a hospice setting.
