Stuart Whitby, Director at Crewe Alexandra, said “We’re delighted to partner with St Luke’s. Like many Crewe supporters, the hospice is a special place for me and it is a pleasure to be able to donate a sizeable sum of the Red Lion Club proceeds to such a worthy cause. The initial uptake and interest from our supporters has been fantastic and we’re looking forward to seeing this partnership with St Luke’s continue to grow.”

The Hospice has been providing care services across mid and south Cheshire for more than 30 years and its positive impact reaches over 1,000 patients and their families each year.

St Luke’s, Community Partnership Manager, Angela Slack said  “We are very much looking forward to working with Crewe Alexandra and would like to extend our thanks to the Club for nominating us as their chosen charity this year. Backing like this from clubs and businesses at the heart of the community is vital to our work and we are very grateful indeed for their ongoing support”.
