Dig out your festive knitwear for hospice care! Sign up for St Luke’s Christmas Jumper Day!
This year St Luke’s is asking everyone to join in with their Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 15th December. Join the many businesses and individuals all over Cheshire to support St Luke’s Hospice, either at your workplace, school or with friends.
Registration for Christmas Jumper Day is now open, whether you are a small or large team – Christmas Jumper Day is a great way to spread the festive cheer and raise vital funds for your local hospice. If cheesy jumpers aren’t your thing, you could even decorate an old jumper, wear a Christmas hat or dress up your dog in a Christmas jumper… the possibilities are endless.
Andy Bailey, Corporate Partnerships Manager for St Luke’s Hospice, said: “The Christmas Jumper Day is a simple way for businesses to help raise vital funds for St Luke’s at Christmas and make life a little bit better for someone and their families at the toughest of times. We’ve chosen to stage Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 15th December, because it will be just 10 days until Christmas and by then we hope everyone will be feeling super-festive!”
“I would urge everyone to take part, it really is a fantastically fun festive day and every penny really does count towards the essential work that St Luke’s does throughout the community. You will also receive a free Christmas Quiz to do on the day and festive posters for your workplace.”
Businesses are able to sign up online at www.slhospice.co.uk and follow the easy guide to fundraising. There is a suggested donation of £2 per person, and all the money raised will go towards supporting local people who are cared for by St Luke’s.
