Hop to it with St Luke’s latest fundraiser

St Luke’s Bunny Hop is jumping along again this year and the Hospice is looking for nurseries and toddler groups to get involved in the fundraising fun.

The Bunny Hop is a fantastic way for young supporters to celebrate Easter as well as raise vital funds for the Hospice. Signing up to the sponsored walk is simple and anyone can get involved, you set the date and distance using any location available to you – a playground, nearby field or even the local park.

Rachel Hughes, Community Fundraiser at St Luke’s Hospice, said: “Last year, our community helped us raise over £8,000 for the Hospice thanks to the 16 nurseries who took part in the Bunny Hop. The event is a really simple fundraising idea and everyone can get involved regardless of age or activity level, all you need is some enthusiasm and an open space!”

St Luke’s will provide each child who signs up with bunny ears, a sticker, a bar of chocolate and a sponsorship envelope to collect donations from their friends and family. To reserve your bunny ears or to find out more about the event call a member of the Community team on 01606 555811 or email
