Carers’ Drop-in
Our Day Hospice offers a weekly Carers’ Drop-in to provide support to all carers.
Are you supporting or looking after an ill relative or friend? The stresses and strains of caring can take their toll. Everyone needs a break from time to time.
Our carers’ drop-in focuses on wellbeing, emotional support and practical guidance. Available for anyone caring for someone with a life changing diagnosis.
Our care and support services can provide you with:
- Informal support and practical advice when you are caring for someone with a serious or life changing illness including dementia.
- Information to help you maintain your own health, wellbeing and chat to other carers.
- An opportunity to meet and chat with others over a cup of tea who can relate to your situation, needs and concerns.
These sessions are facilitated by a qualified nurse. It takes place every Wednesday 10am – 12pm at our Day Hospice in Winsford. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided.
You must be referred to the Hospice for carer services or have self-referred via our Dementia Services.
For a friendly chat please contact St Luke’s Day Hospice directly on 01606 555681.
